One of my cloudcone servers was slow and laggy – I had to reboot it.

However, it got stuck at the shudown-and-reboot phrase, so I had to issue a hard reboot.

The VNC connection shows the server was stuck at shutdown..

It took a few minutes for the server to reboot, and I managed to SSH to it.

However, the server was at a high load average even it did not run any services at all.

I contacted the support, and it was fortunate that the issues were resolved promptly, the server was back to “normal”.

The matters could be due to some noisy neighbours, or the cloudcone oversold the servers.

The Cloudcone support says the problem is resolved.
