Every minute of downtime is one minute too much; be assured that we share this opinion without question. We do never maintain VPS arbitrarily, there are always major reasons which force us to conduct a maintenance. Such maintenances simply ensure ongoing system stability and security. This applies for your VPS as well. The immediate maintenance is important to guarantee your VPS will keep on working smoothly, as you rightfully expect.

Since there are not only a few VPS on a host server system but a larger number instead, and customers using the VPS come from all over the world, we kindly ask for your understanding that for natural reasons there is unfortunately no possibility to meet the expectations of all customers affected by the maintenance. Customers with an own Dedicated Server can always tell us their suggestions regarding time and date of a maintenance, and we would consequently take these into consideration, but for VPS it is not possible to discuss and agree on time and date with you. We really regret to say that it is not possible to change the maintenance date.

However, rest assured, please, our highly skilled technicians will keep the maintenance as short as possible. Every technician knows about the importance of having your VPS up and running as quickly as possible.
