If you are on the basic plan of Cloudcone, you may be offered a Free Upgrade to SSD by opening a support ticket.

“Since you are on a default plan, you are eligible for a free SSD migration. I have initiated a hot-migration task to an SSD node. Please check the tasks tab for its progress.”

The upgrade will be made via the hot migration – meaning that you will not need to reboot your VPS instance. And to confirm that your VPS instance has been upgraded to SSD, you can run the following command to test the SSD speed, which is usually 6x faster than a normal HDD.
